Benefits for leadership teams
● Increase alignment to purpose
● Strategic focus
● Faster decisions
● Reduce silos
● Optimize for the organization
Developing servant leadership requires Inspired Teams™ that are:
You may also have tensions that persist or members who are not performing as you would like. You have tried many things to help the team but they either don’t work or work for a short time and the issue returns, perhaps in slightly different form.
The difficulties you face are very common and stem from a form of blindness. In our experience, what keeps leadership teams from moving to Inspired performance is a lack of knowledge and intentionality about creating effective team habits.
Do you know what habits are associated with the frustrations you face? Do you know whether your team is weak or strong in the areas that make the greatest difference to the team’s performance? Unless you know the answers to these questions you are flying blind and it will be difficult to resolve the problems that hold your team back.
Our process, outlined below, is designed to raise your awareness of the current state of your team’s habits, help you identify a new set of habits that are more conducive to achieving your desired performance, and then help you embody and reinforce the new habits; old habits die hard.
● Increase joy and fulfillment
● Invigorate energy and passion
● Increase innovation
● Boost productivity
● Reduce stress and increase well-being
Your development, delivery, and operations teams are where the rubber hits the road; when they work at at an Inspired level, your organization is not going to achieve strategic objectives. Your teams will be:
Teams often are not intentional about the culture they create. They have good intentions and know they need to reflect and learn but they are not aware of the key leverage points of Inspired performance. This creates a lot of well-intentioned activity but it often does not create lasting improvements in performance.
We help the team intentionally focus its attention on creating habits that have been shown to create Inspired performance. This, however, is not enough; habits die hard so teams need to learn how to reinforce and strengthen new behaviors so they become habits.
Our process, outlined below, begins by explaining the key habits of Inspired Teams and teaching the team how to intentionally build them. We then measure the team’s habits and lead a discussion that leads to an action plan for building and strengthening a new culture. We work with the team to implement their plan and then build on their successes to reach an Inspired level of performance.
